Join us in the celebration of our Latino roots and culture by participating in the Fourteenth Annual Puerto Rican Parade of Fairfield County, for your convenience we have included two methods/options of applying for participation on the parade.

Please take note of the following quick bits of information about this year's parade.

Parade Theme: "Celebrating 15 years of our Culture and Community"
 

Date of Parade: Sunday July 13th 2008

Formation/Registration Time: 8:00 a.m.

New Parade Route : Starting at Lincoln Blvd. onto Taft Ave. and down through Park Ave. Arriving at Seaside park for commencement of The Festival.

Submissions : All applications are to be submitted no later than Friday June 20, 2008. Applications can be sent to us via Mail or Fax, please download and print application to be submitted.

Floats: Participants are permitted to build their own floats or to order one through the committee.

** Floats will be judged on the following categories:

1st Prize - Most cultural

2nd Prize - Most Traditional

3rd Prize - Most Folklore

4th Prize - Best Homemade

Judging: To take place at Lincoln Blvd; during formation time. The winners will get their prize plaques at that time, the prizes for each category will be awarded at the Festival at Seaside Park.
