According
to the 2000 Census figures, Hispanics make up 11.88% of the
Fairfield County population. Areas where our presence is more
visible are, from highest to lowest, Bridgeport, Stamford,
Norwalk, and Danbury. It is throughout these areas where 85%
of Hispanics are found. These figures only represent Hispanic
presence within the Fairfield County area and do not include
adjacent counties, where Hispanics also represent the fastest
growing consumer group, such as New Haven County, Hartford
County, Westchester County (NY), New York City and all adjacent
boroughs, and Springfield, MA. These areas are a short drive
away from each other with an average travel time of 1.25 hours,
their proximity alone makes them an ideal melting pot for
Hispanics from a variety of nationalities and a truly strong
market resource for businesses looking to tap into the Latin
Market throughout the Tri-State region.
With such
a unique Latin presence, it is no surprise to see an interesting
socio-economic impact throughout the Tri-State area. Businesses
are encouraged to sponsor a variety of activities/events where
product sampling, goody bags, and market research can all
be achieved in one place, at one time, and with a maximum
of exposure.

Thank
you for your time, your interest is appreciated.
